Second Place Winner in the Eye On Nature Art Competition
Tuesday, 12 April 2016

Life on Earth depends on the sea. However, look beneath the surface because life under the sea is a mystery to many of us. Compared to our knowledge of life on land, we know much less about what goes on in the ocean.
Our art shows much of the marine life that inhabits the Hauraki Gulf and surrounding ocean. Much of this marine life is unique to New Zealand. We hope our mural encourages you to think not only about how marine life can be effected through pollution and over fishing, but also how you can look after and protect our seas for future generations
