Kelly Tarltons Trip
Year 3 had a fantastic time today visiting Kelly Tarltons on Monday 19 August. We went there to learn more about Antarctica, Robert Scott and of course those adorable King and Adele Penguins. We got to feel real penguin feathers, wear seal skin gloves and see replica snow shoes in our classroom session. Some students who were brave enough had a competition to see who could hold their hand in freezing cold water the longest. We watched the seahorses being fed, learnt about sea turtles and we all enjoyed seeing the sharks, giant crayfish, pufferfish and of course the playground!
Many thanks to our wonderful parent helpers who helped make the day a success.
