Hi 5 Kids

Hi 5 Kids – Wakaaranga provides safe, supportive before-school, after-school, and holiday care that children genuinely enjoy and whānau can rely on. We’re proud to be bringing Hi 5 Kids to Wakaaranga School and building a caring, positive programme for the school community. Our focus is creating a place where children feel welcome, settled, active, and well cared for before and after school.

Hi 5 Kids is accredited by Te Kāhui Kāhu to the Ministry of Social Development’s OSCAR standards for safety, supervision, staffing, and programme quality, giving families real peace of mind.

Based in the Wakaaranga School Hall and Music Room, our programme makes great use of the whole school environment to give children a fun, smooth, and engaging start and end to the day. Our exciting and varied programme is for children aged 5–13, and families from Farm Cove Intermediate and other local schools are welcome too.

We value being part of the Wakaaranga School community. Every booking supports the school through our revenue-share agreement; as the programme grows, the return to Wakaaranga School grows too, helping support positive outcomes for the wider school community.

Hours of Operation

Before School Care: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 8:30 am

After School Care: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Holiday Programme: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
